This is a small metal or plastic retainer clip that secures the main top panel of the dryer to the cabinet frame. It holds the top panel firmly in place so it doesn't shift or rattle during operation. If your dryer's top panel feels loose, pops up during use, or won't stay properly seated, this clip may be broken or missing.

This clip secures the lint screen frame to the dryer housing, keeping the lint filter properly seated during operation. It snaps into place to hold the frame firmly so the lint screen does not shift or rattle. Replace this clip if it is broken or missing, which can cause the lint frame to sit loosely or allow the lint screen to move out of position.
This is a thermistor-style temperature sensor that monitors the evaporator coil temperature in a room air conditioner. It sends temperature readings to the control board so the unit can regulate cooling cycles and prevent the evaporator from freezing over. Replace this sensor if the air conditioner runs continuously without cycling off, fails to cool properly, displays an error code, or if the evaporator coil ices up excessively.
Replaced thermistor and PC board . Not exactly sure which one fixed it but in guessing the pc board and the thermistor wasnt but $15.00 or something so we decided just to change it too .. And use a small piece of masking tape on small screws removi g the pc board and you wo t have to fight with it so much .
