This is a nut that is used in many microwave ovens. It is typically used to hold interior fan in place. A nut is a fastener that is used to hold two items together or keep one component secure against a surface. Use and time can cause the nut to become stripped, damaged, or broken. If the nut is broken, it will no longer hold the fan in the right location. The nut will need to be replaced.Before replacing this part, the microwave should be unplugged. Open the refrigerator door and remove the cover that goes over the fan. The nut can then be removed using a nut driver. Replace the other parts before using the appliance.This nut is used in microwave ovens manufactured by Crosley, Electrolux, Frigidaire, and Kenmore. It is sold as a single part. Very easy fix. Lifted off the grill and burner. Unscrewed 2 screws. Pulled the burner pan up and off. Disconnected the wire to the igniter. Used needle nosed pliers to remove the clip holding the igniter in place. Removed the gasket from the old burner pan. Placed the new igniter in the hole of the new burner pan and slipped the old clip on the igniter to hold it in place. Then put the old gasket on the new burner pan. This is a 2500-watt circular heating element located at the rear wall of the oven cavity, surrounding the convection fan. This is a seal gasket that fits around the burner drip pan on a cooktop or range. It creates a tight seal between the drip pan and the cooktop surface to prevent spills and debris from falling beneath the burner area.
