This 1/4" compression nut and ring is used to connect the water supply line to the water valve inlet. Can be used anywhere a 1/4" compression fitting is needed.
I removed the old dispenser cover/plastic frame (bottom portion broken off/separated and held in with three rusted screws) - disconnected the ribbon from the circuit board. Installed the new ribbon cable in the circuit board located behind the dispenser cover. Removed the backing from the new "Frigidaire Gallery Series" label and attached the label to the front of the dispenser cover and reinstalled on the refrigerator door with three new screws. This genuine OEM part is the main control board for refrigerators. The main control board is the primary circuit board that controls the refrigerator's essential functions of maintaining and controlling temperature. If the refrigerator is no longer staying cool, powering on, or maintaining proper temperature, the main control board will need to be replaced. To begin, start by unplugging the refrigerator. Once unplugged, proceed to uninstall the inner door panel of the refrigerator by removing the mounting screws. Once removed, access the old control board. Remove the wire harness and any individual wires attached to the old board. After that, pull the old board out of its mounting brackets to fully remove it from the refrigerator. Reinsert the wires into their correct terminals on the new board and snap it into its mounting brackets. Once secured, reinstall the inner panel of the refrigerator and restore power to the appliance.
