Watched a few of your videos and ordered the springs and a insert, and actually got the parts right. I am not a Appliance repair guy but I am retired and I am pretty handy so I thought what the heck. I watched the videos, a lot of common sense, common tools, and plenty of time. My knuckles are busted up and a little blood, but I got it done. Was actually kind of rewarding. Works like a champ. I ordered the lid from Appliance Parts Pros which arrived very quickly. Received it with in two days of the order. I was debating for 7 years whether or not to order the lid. Washing machine worked and is still working perfectly, but the integrity of the old lid was so degraded even after having taken steps to preserve it for as long as possible. 7 years ago I saw the beginning of the lid showing signs of rust. The repair guy told me if I have him fix it I should just buy a new one. I like my washer and dryer because it's a combo and takes up little space so I decided to fix it myself. Not sure if I got lucky but appliance parts pros had a video with almost my exact washer which made repair very easy. Read more

The lid strike plate insert is located on the washer cabinet where the lid latch engages for safety lock. Replace it if the washer won't start despite the lid being closed, or if the lid doesn't latch securely.
Replaced transmission. If you have a laundry center like me, you don't have alot of space. Replacing the parts want difficult. Just limited space made it harder. Also couldn't find a removal video for one of these but using a video for a frigidaire stand alone washer ouput me in the ball park and figured it out from there. The belt was off of the pulley and the idler wheel was worn out. I replaced the idler pulley and the spring and put the new belt on and the washer is working fine now. Read more
I replaced the belt and the tensioner along with the spring for it. The tensioner c clip was hard to get to. There wasn't much room for my hands. Read more
