This is a transmission assembly for washing machines. The transmission assembly is the gearbox in the washing machine's motor that allows the washing machine to work at different speeds and different intensities. If the washing machine is no longer spinning properly and has lost its normal level of washing power, it could mean that the transmission assembly needs to be replaced. Once completed, gain access to the motor and pump and remove by releasing the screws and tabs that attach it. Remove the wire harness attached to the transmission. Remove the bolts that secure the motor mount to the transmission and proceed to pull the old transmission out of its place.
