This latch sister board controls the oven's motorized door lock used for self-clean and safety interlock functions. Replacing a failed board restores reliable lock/unlock operation so your oven can start cycles and complete cleaning as designed.
Install notes:
I didn't pull the double oven out of the wall making it a little tighter to work on. Installation takes 5 minutes Disassembly takes a little longer. So it took me about 30 minutes start to finish. Suggestion.... always use your phone to take photos as you disassemble electric parts. Remembering wiring assemblies can be daunting. The parts were OEM. No adaption required. I've ordered for other appliances in the past and have been satisfied with prices and savings on labor. Read more

This mirco switch has normally closed contacts. This means when you press the button the contacts will be open.

I'm no repair expert, but this looked like a really easy job, but it wasn't. It took about 1.5 hours. You have to remove the oven from the wall to do the job. After you remove the back panel it's pretty self explanatory. I had some difficulty getting the back panel to fit properly. Patience and persistence. I suggest taking a photo of the panel before you remove it to help. In the end it's all together and working fine. Read more
