I noted the difference in operation immediately, the fan was moving at a higher rate of speed in a smoother motion. The new motor had far less shaft end play and seems to move more air across the condenser coil than the original motor. Lost power for 24 hours due to hurricane Mathew and water dripped into the ice dispenser motor and refroze when the power was restored. Ice maker worked but would not dispense ice. Dispenser motor was frozen and motor burned out. Two screw under the ice bucket reveals the auger motor. Four screws removed the motor. I think they were 5/16 socket.
