This mounting bracket is a replacement support bracket that secures appliance components and keeps assemblies aligned for reliable operation. It restores proper fit and helps prevent rattling or movement from loose fittings. What it does:
Replacement dishwasher filter chopper blade that grinds food particles in the sump assembly. Replace if dishes aren't cleaning well or you hear grinding noise. Verify fit by model number.
Replace a cracked or missing side rail grommet on your oven rack. This small plastic grommet fits into the rack rail to provide smooth gliding and support.
The dishwasher is 4 years old, so I figured since it was leaking from the bottom, replacing the Tub Gasket PN: AP5690109, Splash Shield Kit PN: AP4338941 , and the bottom Door Seal/Gasket PN: AP5809675 was a good idea; the machine probably has around 1200 cycles in 4 years. There's no telling how much the door had opened and closed!? Filters debris from dishwasher sump to protect pump and spray arms. Replace if warped, clogged, or dishes aren't cleaning properly. Verify fit by model.
1. Removed and replaced circulation pump. That didn't end up being the whole problem, although there was debris jammed up in multiple sections of the impeller. Still was satisfied with results. 2. Continued trouble-shooting and discovered a lot of additional debris in the spray arm itself. Score! That resolved all performance issues. 3.
