This inner door liner forms the interior surface of your dishwasher door and houses the detergent dispensers and controls. It provides insulation and structural support while maintaining a watertight seal. Replace this liner if you notice water leaking from the door, damaged dispenser compartments, or cracks in the door's interior surface.
Replaced the heater element, per the video. Also had to connect a new terminal to one of the heater element wires. Once the heater was again connected electrically, the washer completed the entire wash cycle without hesitation. (During the time that the heater element was non-functional, the control "dial" would stop near the bottom, about half way through the cycle, and had to be advanced "one click" manually).
