Dishwasher not filling with water? A failed water inlet valve is often the cause. This valve controls water flow during wash and rinse cycles.

Fixes water backing up into dishwasher after cycle ends. This check valve prevents backflow through the drain system. Requires tilting unit.
Removed kick plate , slowly took my time to diagnose area where intermittent noise coming from sump area. Could feel when the circulation pump was running it was quiet. When the drain cycle occurred the noise momentarily began. Ordered a drain pump. After removing the old one I discovered a broken tooth pick in the drain impeller area.
