I pulled it off the wall and opened it up ( unplugged ) Then I checked the fuses with my volt meter and found nothing wrong. I then checked the capasator and found that to also be good, I then plugged in the Microwave and tried a test run and noticed the fan was not running. I unplugged the fan and tested to see if it was getting voltage and it was.....soooo the fan was bad. I ordered the new one and the microwave now works. Read more

After research on the internet I concluded that the problem was the turntable motor making the noise. The repair was relatively easy. Just a philips and a star screwdriver was needed. By simply romving the screws from the bottom of the microwave the turntable motor could be removed andvreplaced. The new motor fit perfectly and the grinding noise is gone. Read more
