This was an easy fix: Requires a screwdriver and 10 minutes. The old handle broke where the screw tightens into the plastic of the handle. It was literally falling off thus easy off; then put new handle in place and tighten the existing screws. The new handle did NOT come with new screws. Read more

I looked online and studied the illustrated parts blow-up provided by all reputable parts suppliers. After a bit of researching, I found that the part number had changed. The glass cool-top comes in white, but the burner identifiers and outlines that are set-in the glass come in 3 or 4 different colors. Each color top use to have their own unique part number.
