This fitting connects water supply tubes within the refrigerator's water system. Located behind the refrigerator or inside access panels, it ensures secure water line connections. Replace if you notice water leaks, reduced water flow to the dispenser, or if the fitting appears cracked or corroded.

The part or else the dispenser is not well made. The actuator needs to pivot and drop into a slot after seating the opposite end. But the actuator bar hits a rib on the dispenser that keeps your from pushing the bar in with the other end seated. And that is the only way to put it in. I ended up using a dremel and reworking the rib so that it allowed the bar to pass and seat. The part is also very poorly made. The end of the Actuator bar with the switch is not one piece. The refrigerator icemaker thermal cut-off protects the icemaker from overheating by shutting off power when temperatures exceed safe limits. Located within the icemaker assembly, replace it when ice production stops completely or the icemaker appears to have no power.

Watched the video and ordered the part. Took about one hour with minimal issues. I recommend taking a picture of the motor in the assembly frame before replacing. One issue was reconnecting the power cable to ice-maker (narrow space). I solved this by lubricating female end with olive oil. Worked great. PS: turns out the old fan blade was ok - returning.
