This clip is a genuine General Electric part, sold individually. It can be used as a replacement part for a dryer or a washer/dryer combination appliance. This clip affixes the toe panel to the front panel of the dryer.This clip could become damaged within the standard lifespan of a dryer; this damage could take the form of nicks, scrapes, tears, punctures, or erosion to the plastic material that reduces its functionality for a dryer. If the toe panel is coming loose from the front panel of the dryer, the clip should be visually inspected and assessed for signs of damage. Replaced Wax Motor located on the door lock assembly. Average price around $10.00. The Frigidaire tech data sheet said if the resistance of the PTC was shorted or opened, then replace the door lock assembly ($50 +). It also said that if the PTC reads around 1500 ohms, then replace the control board ($120+). I figured out that you are to test the resistance on the Wax Motor. Our washing machine door boot seal was getting moldy and causing odor problems. Cleaning tablets and bleach weren't helping so it was time to be replaced. While I had the top and front off I changed all the hoses that could be collecting soap scum and mold, all other wetted parts were removed and washed.
