Freezer icing up and not defrosting? This defrost thermostat monitors evaporator temperature to trigger defrost cycles. Located behind freezer wall.
Took everything out and transferred it to coolers etc. Unscrewed and took freezer unit apart ..Evaporator fan not working and made decision to replace motor and bi metal defrost thermostat. Replacement fastener screw for appliances. Secures panels, trim, clips, and components. Needed when original screws are stripped, missing, or damaged.
Removed the handle with two screws on the inside front and pulled out the custom wood panel. Pulled the compactor out from under cabinet. Tipped it over on back of unit, supporting it with a little foot stool. Unscrewed two lower screws at bottom of unit holding black trim panel (that held wood panel in place) and lower black rubber flap. Cabinet roller axle supports refrigerator wheels for smooth movement. Replace if rollers wobble or fridge is hard to move. Verify fit with your model.
Watched the video on how to replace. Ordered new roller, which was delivered in just a couple of days. Since the roller had broke, I was unable to roll out the refrigerator, so I tilted the refrigerator back and placed a small furniture slider under the roller frame to prevent gouging the wood floor. I had to cut down the length of the bar using a Dremel so that it would fit into the channels, it was originally too wide to fit into the fridge. One thing to note, only cut it as wide as the actual fridge; you can get it into the plastic shelf structure by sliding it too much into one side, and then guiding it into the other side. Read more

This is the toe kick grille that mounts at the bottom front of the refrigerator, covering the condenser area and allowing airflow while providing a finished appearance. It snaps or clips into place along the base of the unit. Replace this grille if it is cracked, broken, discolored, or if the mounting clips have snapped off and it no longer stays in place.

Took off the freezer door, took off the top hinge on the refrigerator door, replaced the handle, re-installed the top hinge and the freezer door. This is a two person job - one to remove the top hinge and replace the handle, while a second person holds the refrigerator door in place. Replacing the handle was easy.
