This harness plug connects the dishwasher's wiring to the water inlet valve. Replacing a burnt, brittle, or loose connector restores a solid electrical connection so the valve energizes correctly and the tub fills when the cycle begins.
Dishwasher had begun going through the cycles with not enough water in the chamber. Suspect was the water inlet valve. Checked the AppliancePartsPros video for this repair and ordered the valve from them. It arrived in a timely manner -as usual- and I pulled the dishwasher out, removed the kick toe cover, then the structural brace behind it then removed the valve. In the How to fix it your self section of Questions and Answers, your answers for removing the Base Spray Arm is incorrect. It states "just stick a screw driver into the base spray arm from inside the tub and turn", that does not work. Their are 2 tabs that in gauge the base spray arm with the tub. A 4 prong round wrench is required to insert from the bottom into the pump connector and turn the nut that sits inside. Read more
