The Dishwasher Door Cable is an OEM replacement part for GE dishwashers. It works with the door latch assembly to ensure secure closure of the dishwasher door. Dishwasher had begun going through the cycles with not enough water in the chamber. Suspect was the water inlet valve. Checked the AppliancePartsPros video for this repair and ordered the valve from them. It arrived in a timely manner -as usual- and I pulled the dishwasher out, removed the kick toe cover, then the structural brace behind it then removed the valve.
