This square beauty ring was snapped in place with about 12 small retaining studs that were part of the beauty ring. By using my fingernails I could pull out the ring a bit all the way around. After working my way around the ring 2-3 times it came loose in my hand without breaking. I then installed the new one by pressing it into place with the same retaining studs that gripped ring into place. Purchased new Interface Display from Appliance Parts Pro at about $60 bucks cheaper than from GE and it is OEM board. Snapped the old board out pulled three connectors. Positioned new board installed connectors snapped in place. Works great! Read more
