This square beauty ring was snapped in place with about 12 small retaining studs that were part of the beauty ring. By using my fingernails I could pull out the ring a bit all the way around. After working my way around the ring 2-3 times it came loose in my hand without breaking. This is the plastic frame that guides and directs water or ice from your refrigerator's dispenser system. It ensures proper flow and prevents spills when dispensing water or ice. The refrigerator dispenser electronic control board manages water and ice dispensing functions through the door. Located behind the dispenser panel, replace it when the dispenser doesn't respond to button presses, dispenses continuously, or shows error messages.
Purchased new Interface Display from Appliance Parts Pro at about $60 bucks cheaper than from GE and it is OEM board. Snapped the old board out pulled three connectors. Positioned new board installed connectors snapped in place. Works great! Read more
