Swapped it out for new tube. Take 5 minutes and zero effort. The drain tube will clog with mold. You can clean it out but the tube will clog again despite's you best efforts as the tube wall provide a great habitat. Ordered new tubes to facilitate swap-outs. Thimble Door Top (Outer Trim)

This genuine replacement thimble door top restores the finished trim and secure fit at the top of the thimble/door opening. It helps keep the thimble aligned and prevents gaps that can allow debris or air leaks. What it does:

Replaces a cracked, chipped or worn top trim piece on the thimble/door opening
Helps hold the thimble in place and maintain a snug, even fit

Install notes:

Disconnect power to the appliance before starting any work
Remove any retaining screws or clips and gently lift out the old trim; keep fasteners if undamaged

Compressor overload switch broke in my hand when I removed it but replacing it and the start relay did not fix the problem.
