The Sensor is an OEM part for Bosch ovens and ranges. It detects and monitors the actual interior temperature to maintain precise baking and roasting conditions.
Causes of a bad temperature sensor can include wear from prolonged heat exposure within the oven cavity. Physical damage, moisture intrusion or circuitry malfunctions may also lead to sensor failure over time.
Symptoms of a bad oven temperature sensor include:
- Inability to accurately read or achieve set target temperatures
- Fluctuations in readings displayed
- Cooking modes like bake and broil functioning abnormally
This genuine OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau and select Kenmore models.
