This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau, and some Kenmore microwave models.
Bosch 800 Series Combination Oven + Speed Oven failure. Installed Nov 2016. May 2020 the speed oven lost all power while the lower oven still worked fine. Searching the web, I saw others have had similar issues that originate with 1 or more of the 3 door switches failing for the speed oven, which then blows the internal fuse. Always flip the circuit breaker off before servicing any electrical appliance. Pull out the oven far enough to access the full top panel. Internal fuses (2) are located... Read more
The Microswitch is an OEM part for Bosch microwaves. This small but vital part detects when the door is closed and allows the microwave to operate. It works through electromagnetic pulses that tell the control board the door position.
Causes of a bad microswitch can be wear over time if the door has been opened and closed many times, or damage from an accidental impact that jars the switch out of place or breaks internal components. Repairing or replacing it will restore full and safe operation of the door locking system.
Symptoms of a bad microswitch include:
This OEM Bosch part can also be used on Thermador and Gaggenau appliances.
One of the three-door switches had failed. In my case, 00631512 or ref 25217585 on the left front of the unit. The green button no longer "clicked". When that switch fails, one of the ceramic fuses located under the top cover at the far back of the unit is blown. Used Volt-Ohm meter to determine which fuse. Happy to have also ordered a replacement door switch Support, just in case, as I was unable to remove the failed switch from the support without breaking a key brittle plastic tab.... Read more
The Support is an OEM part for Bosch microwaves. It is designed to hold and stabilize internal components within the microwave, ensuring they remain securely in place during operation for safe and efficient performance.
Over time, the support can become worn out or damaged due to continuous use, exposure to heat, or accidental impacts. Causes of a bad support include cracking, warping, or general weakening of the material, which can compromise the stability of internal parts.

This temperature regulator is the oven's thermostat. It senses cavity heat and cycles the heating source to hold the set temperature, helping restore accurate baking performance and more consistent cooking results.
Removed from cabinet. Confirmed electric was good at outlet. Removed top panels and saw that thermo sensor had “cooked” and took wires with it. Called several local repair services and all were booked for at least 2 weeks. Checked parts available at AppliancePartsPros, educated guess for parts and they were delivered in less than 72 hours. Fairly easy to replace the sensor and wires. Tried it “open” and all seemed good. Put covers back on and back in the cabinet. And it’s been working fine... Read more
