Replaced motor and solenoid cube along with dispenser auger. Simply watched video on repair and installation and really had no problem. My refrigerator is so old that one of the holes in the motor did not align properly. Had to drill another hole to mount the motor to the housing, took ten minutes. Called Appliance Repair Company , , service guy came out, told me that GE no longer makes that hinge and GE would need to recast would take 4 weeks plus and cost $ 100.00 plus installation, they never showed up. I had to disassemble the ice bucket, there were three screws to remove the cover, one screw and a tension spring that holds the bar in place that controls ice cubes from crushed ice.
