I read alot of blogs about the same similar symptom, but none described by exact problem. I kept reading how the compressor relay would make a click noise or sisal. Fix a refrigerator that won't cool and clicks every few minutes. This start relay and overload assembly mounts on the compressor to restore reliable starting.
Pulled the relay off of the condenser motor (3 pin connection) and removed 2 wire feeds. Reversed the procedure for the install. Ordered the new relay and decided to replace the run capacitor as well just to be safe. I purchased main control board/defrost limiter thermostat and defrost heater I only needed the defrost limiter thermostat fairly easy to do simple tools needed. I would rate this job as a 6 or 7 on a scale of 10 10 being most difficult the only thing that took time was defrosting the evaporator I used a small steam cleaner worked well Read more
