Tested the power to the unit by turning on the cooktop portion and saw that I had power to all of the burners. Turned the selector knob to broil and saw that the top element would heat up. I then turned off the breaker to the unit. I then decided to take out the baking element to do a continuity test. When I touched it, a 1.5 inch section fell out. REPLACE door hinges and door handle (about 30 minutes) 1. Open the door to the first catch. 2. Lift the latch keepers (stoppers) on the hinge. 3. Lift / pull the door away from the oven. 4. set on a flat surface with inside of door up. 5. Remove three screws on the bottom of the door. 6. Pulled oven/range away from wall. Unplugged appliance. Removed oven racks and then the four screws holding fan/heating element cover. Holding fan blade used socket to remove retaining nut and then slid fan blade off of motor shaft. Note: the retaining nut is removed by turning clockwise. Removed screws holding back panel in place exposing fan motor. Removed three screws holding motor in place then disconnected two wires going to terminals on motor.
