The Knob is an OEM replacement part for GE ranges. This knob is responsible for operating the temperature control dials on the electric range. Over time, knobs can become worn, cracked or damaged making them difficult to turn accurately. Color: black. Measures about 2 inches in diameter. Contacted GE for a replacement knob--and their cost was over $56 for one simple knob and shipping. Knowing that was completely unreasonable (it's a simple plastic part), I searched the web and found AppliancePartsPros. I ordered on a Thursday, and received it Friday--the next day! The replacement was easy, BUT my Spectra model required removal of the front crystal. This wasn't hard, but I found nothing about it on the internet or YouTube. Remove the four plastic nuts and then the crystal. Then it's easy. Read more

REPLACE door hinges and door handle (about 30 minutes) 1. Open the door to the first catch. 2. Lift the latch keepers (stoppers) on the hinge. 3. Lift / pull the door away from the oven. 4. set on a flat surface with inside of door up. 5. Remove three screws on the bottom of the door. 6.
