Tested the power to the unit by turning on the cooktop portion and saw that I had power to all of the burners. Turned the selector knob to broil and saw that the top element would heat up. I then turned off the breaker to the unit. I then decided to take out the baking element to do a continuity test. When I touched it, a 1.5 inch section fell out. Cleaned up broken glass. Ordered new glass. Removed 2 screws. Pulled back handle. Inserted new glass into track at bottom. Snapped in handle. Tightened up the 2 screws. Done. Peace of cake!! Video on your site was helpful. Read more
Figured out how to take oven apart then removed all the old insulation. Throughly cleaned every thing and black taped the wire where the mice chewed on it. I ordered this insulation and didn't use the oven until it came in. Once I received it I took the oven back apart and placed the insulation in place. Every thing was precut to size. Super easy to install! Then put everything back together. Oven is good as new. Read more

REPLACE door hinges and door handle (about 30 minutes) 1. Open the door to the first catch. 2. Lift the latch keepers (stoppers) on the hinge. 3. Lift / pull the door away from the oven. 4. set on a flat surface with inside of door up. 5. Remove three screws on the bottom of the door. 6. I replaced the oven control which was very easy to do. It was recommended to purchase the graphics faceplate as well, but if you carefully remove the old one from the existing control board it will be reusable and will retain some of the adhesive. Either way it was a total success and it is nice to see the oven work and avoid a costly replacement. Read more
