Figured out how to take oven apart then removed all the old insulation. Throughly cleaned every thing and black taped the wire where the mice chewed on it. I ordered this insulation and didn't use the oven until it came in. Once I received it I took the oven back apart and placed the insulation in place. Every thing was precut to size. I ordered the replacement burner and replaced the burner when the part came in. Read more
Tested the power to the unit by turning on the cooktop portion and saw that I had power to all of the burners. Turned the selector knob to broil and saw that the top element would heat up. I then turned off the breaker to the unit. I then decided to take out the baking element to do a continuity test. When I touched it, a 1.5 inch section fell out.
