This small plastic button covers the electrical connection point where the range plugs into the wall outlet, located on the back of the unit. Replace if the button is cracked, missing, or doesn't properly cover the plug connection.

Customer Service was patient, thorough, and friendly. We ordered new Elements, mine rusted. New, more sturdy GE Burner Bowls than local stores. A new rod support. My stove cooks faster, cleaner, and I was informed what my drawer was for.
