The oven broil element provides intense direct heat from the top of the oven cavity for broiling and browning food. Located at the top interior of the oven, this exposed heating element glows red-hot during operation. Replace when the element won't heat up, heats unevenly, shows visible damage, or trips the circuit breaker.

This heating element is located at the bottom of the lower oven cavity and provides heat for baking functions. Replace it if the oven doesn't heat up, bakes unevenly, or if you notice visible breaks or blistering in the element.

Replaced the glass. Unfortunately I thought if I bought the OEM kit it would have the 2 pieces of glass, the inner frame and the sealer. It did have the inner frame and although the model number ordered was the same, the inner frame was incorrect. I took it apart and used the original. I could have purchased 1 piece of tempered 1/4 thick "rectangle glass for 1/2 the cost. The job is done, took about 20 mins and we "live and learn" on replacement parts. Read more
