Turned power to oven off at breaker box. Opened oven door. Unscrewed 3 Phillips-head screws on chrome trim around control panel. Unscrewed 2 Phillips-head screws holding selector switch. Laid control panel down on top of closed oven door. Removed wires by hand from old switch and connected them to the same terminals on the new switch (the wire connectors pull off easily). This small plastic button covers the electrical connection point where the range plugs into the wall outlet, located on the back of the unit. Replace if the button is cracked, missing, or doesn't properly cover the plug connection.
Pushed replacement glider button into hole in bottom of drawer frame. Total repair time = 7.2 seconds. Read more
