Kit includes more than shown on picture. New kit is for both plastic and stainless tubs. Plastic tubs use only the float and the switch stainless tubs use all the parts.
I replaced the float switch. It was an easy enough repair. I didn't have to remove the dishwasher to do the work. The part is accessible from behind the front skirt.The only problem was there is not a lot of space to work in. Getting the fastener off and on requires a stubby nut driver. I used a flexible extension instead. I had to feel for the nut as the bottom of the door blocked my view. My float was snapped off and while trying to find out what was the problem with the dishwasher. I discovered that the back docking station seals were shot. I replaced both the float and the docking station. The docking station took about 3 minutes. To fix the float I had to pull out the dishwasher and fit it from the bottom. It took about an hour. All is well again with my dishwasher. Read more

Dishes were 'gritty' with an almost invisible coating of specks smaller than grains of salt. Prior to ordering parts, I had to determine which part(s) needed replaced and which could benefit from a good cleaning. After viewing Appliance Parts Pros YouTube Videos, I removed the Main Manifold (snaps right off) including the Top Spray Arm.
