Oven Control Board
Genuine Ge part
By: Ge
Part Number: WB27T10416

This genuine replacement part is an oven control board. The oven control board is the main circuit board that controls the ovens' essential functions. If the oven isn't heating properly, not turning on, or showing an error code on the digital display, it might be time to replace the control board. Replacing a control board may seem like a difficult task, but it is a relatively simple process. Start by unplugging the range. After that, move the appliance away from the wall to gain access to the back. Remove the upper back panel, and locate the control board. Take note of the orientation of the wires using a phone camera. Then detach the wire harness from the old control board. Remove any individual wires with a pair of needle-nose pliers. Then re-attach the wires to the new control board in the correct terminals. Snap the new control board into place and re-install the upper back panel of the range. This OEM replacement part is compatible with General Electric, Hotpoint, and RCA brand ovens.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You F7 error code ge profile oven   John V. • East Quogue , NY • August 15, 2016

A very common problem with the GE oven is the dreaded F7 error code. I purchased the control board as well as the keypad and replaced both. The error code could have been either part but since I saw a lot of grease, I chose to change out both even though I isolated the problem to the keypad only. By resetting the error first by hitting the clock button on the keypad, turning off the power, disconnecting the keypad, then turning back on the power if the code doesn't come back it's the keypad. ... Knob
Genuine Ge part
By: Ge
Part Number: WB03T10078

Symptoms of a bad knob include:

  • Difficulty turning or toggling between temperature/time settings
  • Poor response or inconsistencies when adjusting the knob
  • Loose, wiggly or unstable feel that doesn't stay securely in position
  • Cracks, chips or obvious signs of physical damage

This GE OEM replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Broken range knob   Janice E. • Kalamaozo , MI • July 01, 2015

Contacted GE for a replacement knob--and their cost was over $56 for one simple knob and shipping. Knowing that was completely unreasonable (it's a simple plastic part), I searched the web and found AppliancePartsPros. I ordered on a Thursday, and received it Friday--the next day! And it cost $20.37 for TWO knobs and shipping. Amazing. Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Update from biscuit to black   Holly G. • Selah , WA • March 05, 2016

We updated a 'not so old' Biscuit GE Range to BLACK. It was easy to figure out what parts I needed by using the selection process on the web-site, I ordered parts then followed the pictures and videos provided to change out the handle, panel, drawer and knobs, I used two metal look back splash panels on the door to give it a rustic look and am very happy with the result. The range looks great in my newly remodeled kitchen Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Oven door wouldn't close tightly new hinges didn't fix the problem   Paul S. • East Wenatchee , WA • October 26, 2020

All of the information on the web repair sites said "replace the hinges as the springs are worn out." Didn't fix the problem. The top of the door still wouldn't seal, and the. Leaning latch wouldn't catch the door unless you pressed on the door. The inside panel of the door was fatigued. Too many turkeys were set on the door over the years. The hinges are attached to that inside panel, so the stress points were bent over time. I replaced the inside steel panel. Took about an hour. Was able... Read more
