Used non-contact voltage detector on fan motor wires to determine that power was getting past the switch indicating motor was bad not the switch. Was able to easily remove fan by taking off 4 nuts from mounting studs leaving plenum and everything else in place, cut wiring harness close to motor leaving as long as possible wires remaining connected to switch. Saved a lot of time and problems by leaving original harness connected to switch and splicing new harness to old one. The only difficult... Read more

I ordered the element and grill kit for the Jenn-Air downdraft grill. When the new parts arrived it appeared to be different with only three pins not four like the old one. After I looked more closely at the old part I discovered that the ceramic part came off and it had the 4th pin in the ceramic block. Once I put the block on the new part it all looked and worked perfect. It is now just like new. Read more
I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business. Read more

Repair was a bit difficult as the appliance was sitting between two cabinets and air handler sit right in the middle of the two cabinets. But over all we managed it, I damaged the blower switch in the process so now I need a Blower switch for the same appliance. Thank you. Manny A. Read more
