I replaced it with the control panel assembly. It was fairly easy to get to with a screw driver and making sure you got all the screws. There are 2 on each side (sometimes you need to pull the oven out a few inches to get at one or both of these). For future reference, take pictures before taking out / off anything and turn off the breaker to the oven as you will be working close to the circuit board with electricity still flowing otherwise (I got a small shock). I ordered the element and grill kit for the Jenn-Air downdraft grill. When the new parts arrived it appeared to be different with only three pins not four like the old one. After I looked more closely at the old part I discovered that the ceramic part came off and it had the 4th pin in the ceramic block. Once I put the block on the new part it all looked and worked perfect. It is now just like new. Read more

I replaced the downdraft fan and fan motor of my 25 year old JennAire C301 cooktop. The issue was getting the fan/motor assembly out in such a tight place. I had to first remove the fan cover, cut the wires, then the assembly came out. Putting back wasn't as tough although getting the cover back on (over the motor) was a bit of a strain. Wired it back, turned it on, and was thrilled. Now I'll replace the knobs and burners and we're back in business. Read more
