The burner venturi creates the proper air-to-gas mixture for efficient combustion in gas cooktop burners. Located between the gas valve and burner assembly, this funnel-shaped component ensures optimal flame characteristics. Replace if flames appear yellow instead of blue, burn unevenly, or if the burner fails to ignite consistently.
I used the parts ordered, minus the screw because it was not the right one, and replaced the burner. I just took the old parts off and put the new parts on. Super easy fix! Read more
The screws ordered were the wrong type (I removed machine threads, the replacements were self threading) Not a problem.The screws fixing the burners to the top plate were badly rusted and the heads had to be drilled off. The remaining part of the screws had to be drilled out which meant that the self threading screws could then be used. Changing the valve was straight forward. Replaced the ignitor glow bar and deflector oven (which had a hole burned through it). Screws stripped upon disassembly of original deflector oven and needed to be replaced as well. Read more
