I had concluded that the igniter was going bad and ordered a new one. I also watched the video on how to replace the ignitor. The video explained that after you removed all the screws to the burner assemblies, you needed to lift the range top and replace the ignitor. They did explain that there were clips holding the top down, but implied if you exerted enough force it would pop open. I tried several times, different ways and it would not release. The only issue I had was that I had ordered spark igniters the week prior after watching your repair video which showed the spark igniters with wires attached. When the ignitors arrived, there were no wires, so I ordered this harness which actually fixed the problem with having to open the igniters. I am now trying to return the igniters, but I can't do it without the serial number from my appliance, which I did not use the order the parts, I now have to make a trip back up to my rental unit... I entered the stove model number and was able to find all the correct parts for repair. I purchased 2 burner lines and 4 ignitors. The shipment came and all parts were correct. The installation was a snap. Since then I’ve bought more parts for the range vent hood and am currently waiting for those parts to arrive and overhaul the hood.
