I had concluded that the igniter was going bad and ordered a new one. I also watched the video on how to replace the ignitor. I have a GE Adora gas stove. Its a JGB605 model. The knob for the font left burner would not rotate. After looking through the manual, the parts lists on the internet, and checking some youtube videos I decided I had to replace the valve for the burner. It took maybe 30 minutes to disassemble the stove top. You will need a Torx driver. Swapping out the valve was trivial and reassembly was quick. This was an easy fix. Remove all the burner/caps, screws from the gas range top. Remove the top to access the burner tube connection. There on remove the old part and install the new one. Overall project takes under 15mins to complete Read more
