I replaced the control panel and all worked perfect!! The new panel was a perfect fit. I did have a problem removing the old ribbon cable from its connector. I actually broke the retaining clip. The new cable fit in tight so I hoping it doesnt work itself out. The only other issue is that the new piece was not the shiny appliance paint that was on my original.
