My husband followed the directions that were on the website and was successful in installing the new part. We did have to stretch the gasket a little to fit all the way around the oven and the oven door latch needed to be adjusted a little for the door to shut tight. I'm sure the gasket will compress some and will make it easier to shut the door in the future.
