Had to remove old glass shards, and reflector tape. Would recommend pliers. I used a utility knife and gloves. Then removed the screws on the top section of outer glass trim. This allowed me to install the metal handle brackets inside and partially behind the trim piece, before securing to new glass. During this time, I did settle the new piece of glass in the bottom track of the outer trim. I also the installed the new heat. reflector tape to the top inside edge of the door. Had to leave some... Replaced the knob with the selector knob purchased from AppliancePartsPros. Read more
Ordered an oven rack. This was the only vendor I found who had a ‘maybe’ for my 25+-year-old oven. Had to wait several weeks for backorder. The rack fits. I’m very pleased; the wait was a small price to pay. Read more
