We ordered the parts and watched the help videos. It was "almost" exact in telling us what we needed to go. Our cooktop is 16 years old and had a ton of greasy buildup that had slowly gotten down into the knobs and was a sticky mess to undo. However the parts fit perfectly, and after 2 hours of careful "home engineering" we made it happen and everything works aweome now. Turn off power at breaker box, remove four hex head screws under front of stovetop (lower oven door to access), lift and pull glass top towards front of stove and set aside. Remove wires from burner (gently wiggle them, they should stay in place for easy reconnecting). Remove burner from spring loaded stands and transfer mounting tabs from old unit to new attaching them in the same numbered holes.
