This is a range control panel insert. This part fits over the top of the control panel and marks the burner control settings. Over time, the control setting markers on this part could wear off so that they can no longer be seen. If this is the case, the control panel insert can be replaced so that the correct settings can be used. If this part becomes discolored or otherwise worn in any way, the appliance owner may wish to replace it for cosmetic reasons. Unplug the oven unit from its power source prior to attempting to replace this part.
