Oven Rack
Genuine Ge part
By: Ge
Part Number: WB48T10020

The Oven Rack is an OEM part for GE ovens. This sturdy metal rack provides a stable surface for cooking or baking, fitting inside the oven's interior to support cookware and bakeware. The rack measures 24 inches in width and 14 inches in depth,

Causes of a bad oven rack can include warping or bending from heavy loads, rust or corrosion from exposure to moisture, and general wear and tear from frequent use. Physical damage or accidental mishandling can also affect its condition.

Symptoms of a bad oven rack include:

  • The rack not fitting properly or sliding in and out smoothly
  • Warped or bent sections that prevent even cooking
  • Rust or corrosion on the metal surface
  • The rack feeling unstable or collapsing under weight

This GE replacement part is also compatible with Hotpoint, RCA, and some Kenmore models.

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You Replacing oven racks   Sharon M. • Richmond , TX • July 29, 2015

I'm a Realtor and I know how important it is to have a pristine home no matter the age. I find keeping the oven by itself is relatively easy but the racks tend to be a bit harder to keep spotless. My way of trouble shooting this prior to putting my home on the market, new racks. Dirty ovens are a major turn off to a potential home buyer, taking care of the little details in advance will make you money.... Read more

Do-It-Yourself Stories from Customers like You GE profile in wall oven gave F 9 code and would shut off after 30 minutes   Matthew M. • Fairfield , CA • July 23, 2018

The F9 error code is supposed to indicate that the door lock mechanism has failed. My oven would give the F9 code and turn off during normal baking at 400 F after about 30-40 minutes. It turns out that GE must have programmed the error codes incorrectly in my model, because the real problem was that my control board cooling fan was no longer functional, and one of the two thermal switches was shutting off the unit when the control board area got too hot. Control Board
Genuine Ge part
By: Ge
Part Number: WB27T10435

The control board assembly is intended for use with wall ovens. This part can be found near the top of the oven, where a small screen gives information about time, temperatures, or applicable error codes. The purpose of the control board assembly is to monitor and control the temperature, time, and other aspects of the cooking cycle. In some cases, the control board assembly will go bad and require a replacement. A screwdriver will be needed for the process. A pair of work gloves are also useful for protecting the hands of the user. Before starting, make sure the oven is not connected to power. There are several screws that hold the control board assembly to the appliance. These should be loosened to pull the board away from the oven. Make a note of where the wires are located before disconnecting them and removing the control board assembly. Install the new component and plug it in before using it.This is an authentic OEM replacement part that is made to be used with wall ovens and microwave oven combo appliances created by General Electric. This part comes as a single component.
