We updated a 'not so old' Biscuit GE Range to BLACK. It was easy to figure out what parts I needed by using the selection process on the web-site, I ordered parts then followed the pictures and videos provided to change out the handle, panel, drawer and knobs, I used two metal look back splash panels on the door to give it a rustic look and am very happy with the result. It's a double wall oven and the lower oven thermostat failed. First was removal. Pulling the ovens was not too difficult thanks to using a motorcycle jack as a platform to slide the unit onto as well as have the ability to raise and lower it. Unwiring and rewiring the range and oven which shared an electrical box was the most difficult, as the box was located behind drawers in a kitchen cabinet. I replaced the cooling fan for the lower oven. This fan is located in the space between the top and bottom ovens. I also chose to replace both the BAKE and TCO thermostats. Read more
