There are a lot of suggestions online to try and buy yourself time with this error. I tried the index card between the ribbon cable and the pencil eraser I clean the ribbon cable contacts, but the error came back. I disconnected the ribbon cable from the ERC and still got the error, so I knew it was the ERC I needed to deal with. This metal structure forms the outer border of the oven door, providing mounting points for the glass panels and handle. Located on the front of the oven door, replace it if the door won't close properly, glass is loose, or the frame is warped or cracked.
