I purchased two lamp sockets and two lamp bulbs and fixed the microwave myself. It took approximately 25 minutes to change out the sockets and put the new bulbs in. My lights on my microwave are working perfectly and I couldn't be happier. Read more

I had to remove the microwave from the range and then remove the cover from the microwave to determine the exact problem. After a visual inspection then discharging the high voltage capacitor, I used a meter to test the high voltage diode and fuses. After using the meter to ohm out the magnetron, I removed it from the unit, and seeing that the hole in the end of the magnetron's tube was enlarged and burnt, as if it was arcing, I assumed it was the bad part. Went to Appliance Pros and found the part for my microwave. Web site was very easy to use. Ordered the thermal fuse and it was delivered in 2 days. Shipping was a a bit expensive, but can't complain with two day delivery. Replaced the failed part and the microwave now works great. It 1 1/2 hours, but I took my time. Needed one helper to remove the top screws. Handy-wife did it without a problem. Read more

Follow the trio ubshooting flow chart inside of the microwave panel - and read articles on this website. Turned out to be a thermostat that had popped and gone bad. Replace the thermostat and it is good to go. Read more

Google indicated that the problem was the control panel. It was easy to remove it and replace the panel.Found a parts company that would allow returns if new part did not remedy the problem. Ordered part and it arrived the next day. Replaced panel and microwave is working. Keeping my fingers crossed. DO NOT PURCHASE A PART FROM A COMPANY THAT WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS.Problem could be another defective part and you will be stuck with an expensive part. Read more

Take the top vent off by two screws & then one screw on the side & lifted her up and I could see the 3 switches I need to repair. Then unscrewed the housin to the 3 switches. Took the housin out , put the 3 switches in the new housing & put her in & plug them in . And plug the Nucor and she works like new. Highly recommended to deal with these people good people for the do-it-yourselfer. Read more
