Swapped out the old one with this one. Removed the screws at bottom of microwave, which allowed me to get to the defective wire harness and swap it out. Works great. Read more

Took it off the wall and took it into my work shop. Took it all apart found 1/2" of caked on grease all over everything including the fan. This is the only fan over my stove. Scraped and cleaned it all using degreaser in a spray can for electronics. Removed the ventilation motor and replaced the interior light, Once unit was clean and dry reassembled and reinstalled. I have one of those combo units with the microwave on top and the oven on the bottom. The thermometer switch located on the upper right side mounted on top of the magnetron read open on a continuity test. Replaced the thermal fuse. Everything works fine now.
