Saw repair for similar micro oven, JVM1350AW002, on u-tube with same prob. Removed inside frame around glass with kitchen butter knife. Had to be very careful with knife to ensure didn't brake frame. Put handle on outside and fastened two screws onto handle. Replaced frame. Read more

The microwave vent cover at the top of the appliance in a rental was saturated with years of grease. Just touching it, grease dripped out. There are four screws that hold the handle in place, my handle was down to one. I had to pry off the inner door cover. I used butter knives, but a thin screwdriver should work as well. Start on the outside edge (away from the hinge) near, but not in, the upper or lower corner. Slip the knife in between the inner door cover and the outer door shell, gently pry loose, working around the cover. It isn't necessary to remove it entirely, but I did so that I could clean it.
