Watched youtube video about taking door apart. did so carefully to not snap clips. it came apart fairly easily. cleaned smudged glass. whited-out scorch mark on metal screen. ordered new film. applied film carefully (it's sticky so line it up carefully for a one and done; no peeling and re-try). Ordered the part which came within a week. Rather than pop back on easily, I did have to spend some time of installing it. The bottom slot insert plastic piece was a little too wide and I had to file it down to get it to slide into the microwave. Also had to take a rubber mallet to get in all the way into place. Took plastic edging off the inner door then had to get the Metal section to come apart, leaving front window in the front to get to 2 of the 4 screws. Read more

Ordered new handle from website which was very easy. Clicked on the video showing how to open the panel to access the screws that secure the handle. Opened panel with a kitchen knife and proceeded to unscrew the handle. That was the most difficult part; however, we got it. Replaced the old handle with the new and that was it--simply pushed the panel back into place. More simple than we thought it would be. First I Googled the microwave, found the part number then Googled the part number. I then found Appliance partspros.com and ordered the handle. It arrived the next day! That was impressive. I then Googled how to install it (have to take the door apart) and found the right instructions on Youtube. After several attempts I got it right and fixed it!
